They put him in one play and pull him immediately after, they dont even let the kid get settled in, smfh..

I dont know if I will watch the game again but one thing I noticed is our WR dont seem to do a good job blocking down field, that is what is needed to spring big runs, I have seen guys like Berrios size, stacey coley bury guys into the ground blocking so its not about size. They need to put more effort into blocking down field.

the whole game was the definition of stupidity... you invite tons of 4&5star kids to attend for the next 3years, mostly highly ranked WR's to show off this high powered O we have now, and then poooofffff, we were some totally different team and offense... and then the last possession stupidity...
 
Running game seemed off. I'm not an Xs and Os but there didn't seem to be much variability with the running game. Seemed to be HB dives, lashlee style

I know the QB starting in the shotgun has been the way of football for the last ten years but geez, the old traditional under center QB who hands the ball off to a RB already going downhill still IMO is the better run play

Edgerrin, Portis, McGahee all traditional RBs at Miami.

You can do all those things from shotgun.. we had been doing them this season. We did not do it on Saturday night.
 
Curious, Dawson looks like hes basically holding a lamenated index card during games for his play sheet.

Yet, I watch other OCs and they have much larger call sheets
 
My gut feeling watching the game is that we were trying to protect TVD due to an unreported injury. No inside info at all, only a hunch. Both he and Dawson looked too different from the first four games, imo.

Then you have Mario offering the he was healthy comment after the game unsolicited and before he was going to be asked.
