Miami missed the peak of the coaching carousel selections and we're now left to pick over the table-scraps. Miami moves too slow. This admin is geriatric in terms of pulling the trigger and making decisions quickly. In firing Blake James--a decision that should have stretched weeks in terms of having a replacement ready--Frenks should have had a black book of candidates interviewed and ready to accept the AD position no more than three days after his firing. Unfortunately, we have a Julio Frenks whose lack of leadership and obstinacy knows no bounds. We should be searching for a coach right now--not searching for an AD.
Here is how I think it is going to go down. Miami will get their new AD in a few weeks but will retain Manny because there isn't any good candidates remaining to choose from. Also, Strawley is portion of the cancer and cultural decay that the oncologists left behind. She should have been shown the door too; not elevated to a position of stewardship in the stead of a pending AD hire.
Unless I am wildly wrong and Miami is able to woo CristoB to the CoralG--This admin is fvckin this all up with their incompetence. If incompetency is fireable at the AD level, it's firable at the Prez level too.
