Pac-12 Championship game is Friday night.

If all signs are pointing to Mario coming back home, zero reason for Miami to say or do anything until this weekend.

After Oklahoma and Notre Dame were just spurned out of nowhere, safe to say Oregon's players and admin are on edge regarding Mario and Miami. Firing Diaz now just throws gas on that fire—right before a huge game for Cristobal.

Again, no one at UM is saying that Diaz is staying, has been retained, will be back for 2022—it's all speculation and PR from his camp.
