(RUMOR) Joe Brady hired

That second answer is hilarious. Brady reminds him of himself when he was younger, and he's proud of him because hes a humble guy just like himself lol...

Joe Brady supposedly doesn't like recruiting but he's an actual canes fan, he like legitimately grew up a Dolphins and Canes fan like most of us. So maybe recruiting will be easier for him here. As a pure football coach it's a slam dunk hire!!! Brady was just getting NFL HC interviews this previous off-season and was expected to get a NFL HC job after this season. It just didn't work out in Carolina, he was the scapegoat for Matt Rhule, they gambled on Sam Darnold and he was unfixable, the Panthers offense was fine the previous year with Bridgewater.

Joe Brady would be a Top 15 OC in college football and u would consider an upgrade over Lashlee

Y’all acting like LSU had the talent level of Ole Miss.

That same year.. Auburn put up more points on Bama than LSU did.
I didn’t say that tho lol . You were asking how good he is with no talent advantage . Can we agree that LSU was talented , but didn’t have a talent ADVANTAGE in those games ?

We just need him to recruit one position-QB. Which really means recruiting 2-3 players per year, albeit the most important players. But these days its pretty easy to figure out who will be a good QB if you can recruit in the top 10-15 at the position as they are all vetted well by the services and camps.

Yeah really that's it. Position coaches will recruit the rest of the offense

if you have a staff full of strong recruiters, you can have a coach that just game plans and does the X-and-O's...

That's kinda the way it was at USC when Norm Chow was the OC with guys like Lane and Sark around...

Mario gives us the luxury of having our coordinators just worry about scheming it up. Our coordinators have to be great at that because it’s not coming from up top

That wasn’t on any source. That was my opinion and I was wrong.

Setting aside your personal feelings about Nunez, wouldn't your "opinion" on whether people want to work at Miami be factually and provably wrong, you know, by the names of people who pursued the job? Which, if you were such an "insider", you would have known about?

I’ll just chime in real quick:

Saban was a monster in college, sucked in the NFL, and came back like he never left.

Kingsbury sucked as a HC in CFB, but now he’s got the Cardinals w/ the best record in The NFL

Mel Tucker sucked as a DC in the NFL, and now he’s a successful P5 HC, having his team play tough.

The point is everyone is not a Pete Carroll, Jim Harbaugh…some guys r a better fit in the collegiate game than the pro game & vise versa.

What I saw was Burrow go from a pedestrian QB in 2018, to the 1st pick of the 2020 draft after 2019.
