Rumor going around that Steed...

Does his father still post here? Would this not be his second one? Junior year of high school and now? Hopefully that isn't the case, tough road for the young man.

Well first of all, I hope it’s not true because he was really working hard to get himself up into getting some major playing time.

At the same time, no matter who it is you can’t expect to go through even a series of practices and certainly not the season without injuries. Sadly it’s part of football.
 
Agree on LB recruiting being an issue over the past few cycles. Minimum 2 every year. I always thought we’d be 4-2-5 more often this year anyways but this is a major blow. Hopefully it’s not an acl and is something more minor than that

The rumor is true. He was having a good spring and just got work yesterday with the ones. Broke my heart this morning when I got the call. It is what it is. I like Brooks to come in and handle business. This has been a tough break for my son and he is really not taking it well. He tore the same ACL that he tore his senior year in high school. He is a tough kid and knows he has the talent to play at a high level, just gonna be hard going through another rehab and season not on the field with his brothers. For me it’s very tough to handle because he is hurting and I can’t find the words to make him feel any better. I just told him that the storm can’t last forever and he will soon have to get up and get back to work.
 
Hope it's a bad rumor. Fan of his potential as a WLB.

Edit: Steed's dad and I posted at the exact same time, apparently. Best wishes your boy's way. Nothing will make the situation completely better, but it's positive to point to a guy like Patchan, who is now potentially going to make an impact after some rough times. Good luck to the whole fam.
