Rumblings on current coaching staff

I can’t wait to see how utterly defeated Manny looks, knowing he’s got to walk out to midfield and shake Mack Browns hand, after once again Mack makes him look foolish

Crazier things have happened in life but how do the players overcome all the negativity and BS around this program right now. I don’t see Manny surviving what I’m expecting to happen.

Another NBA THREE with tech foul oh and an ejection almost forgot that.

Any way you cut it, the DB play has been horrendous. Scheme or no, he could still teach the basics like angles, tackling, etc.
You cannot teach something like angles if you are being put out of position all the time. You also cant teach tackling when your head coach runs practices that are soft for Division 1 College Football standards.

Everywhere he went, he got to coach press technique. We dont run press.

Diaz will not be coach in 2022. If you're the new coach coming in, do you really want the current staff or would you bring your own? Would you say any of the current staff is good enough to coach at the top 5 programs?
Agree .. new HC will bring HIS guys to teach his style period. Only guy that might be considered for being retained would be someone with unique recruiting contacts .. if they mesh from a personality standpoint.

I was told by a South Carolina fan that TROB stunk as a DB coach. He was a good recruiter. Who knows? I do know our safeties played much better under Banda.

So that should be the barometer? If they can’t coach at a top 5 program, they can’t coach here? I’m confused, lol.

As for your first question, just depends on who it is. If we hire a G5 coach with no SoFla ties, then yes .... they probably would want and need some help navigating these waters down here and would keep 1 or 2 around. Only nutjobs like Scott Frost bring their entire staff to his next stop, we see how that has worked out for him.

That's not quite what I was getting at. What I was saying is that if you're walking into a bad situation, do you keep the staff that contributed to that? The answer is maybe one or two if you can cleary see that they are really good. Keeping a coach who failed to teach his players to tackle because he's a good recruiter just means you'll have another crop of wasted potential.
