My friend wrote a movie script set in the future.
The future was the complete reversal of the 1950’s.
The men were paid less and were subject to ridicule and sexual advances from women. The men were the secretaries and the women ruled the boardroom and made sexist comments towards men.

The premise was that the constant bashing of masculinity made men become docile and women became more aggressive. The more docile and submissive men became the more attractive it was to the new age of women and thus men became the ones who stayed home and took on the domestic role. Women and men raised boys to b submissive to women and not refer to women with any kind of sexual or condescending language.

Women were raised to not like any traditional masculine qualities and to not seek men that would be rebellious to women’s demamds.

As women became the ones that earned money men began to view women as “the come up” and men were the ones that were told “some day you’ll marry a girl with a good job and have kids and she’ll take care of you”.

He wrote that sht 12 years ago and I thought he was stupid.
Now I believe he is a visionary.

Unintended and very bad consequences to society (already and future) are staggering.
