I'm not sure why this question is being asked? Did you read the article?

It was a very factual, straightforward article.

The author:

NAOMI FEINSTEIN is a fellow at Miami New Times. She spent the last year in New York City getting her master’s degree at the Columbia School of Journalism. She is also a proud alum of the University of Miami.

I know Naomi and the article was certainly not written as a hit piece, but that doesnt mean that all of her info is 100% correct.

No problem, sir. I also noticed that the "summary" that appears when someone includes the hotlink may not be a verbatim quote of the article.

Anyhow, the author of that article is a proud UM alum. She was pretty fair in the article, and presented both sides of certain issues.

Miami New Times is not the Wall Street Journal. That said, seems like a lot of the info stated is public record & easily verified. Little worried that the university/athletic program seems heavily reliant on the success of his venture.

She has a $300k+ education from an elite Ivy League school and she's writing for the Miami New Times. Eeek. I hope she's like 23. Regardless, I'll be rooting for her. Wasn't a hit piece and topics are usually assigned by editors.

She graduated from UM, she is a Cane, and only spent a year up north getting her Masters.

One of my first jobs was in the accounting department at the Miami New Times. Yes it is a legit publications. They have a ton of stories that either went national, were made into movies or documentaries. They broke the story on the Miami Dr that was supplying MLB players steroids.
