Ruiz family attempting to build a stadium in Coral Gables...

Impossible. I have read multiple times that there is no room in Coral Gables for no such thing.

We wouldn’t be able to — consistently — pack anything more than 50k. I think it’s a solid capacity.

The design of the stadium is more important than capacity. Construct it in a way that it will preserve noise and keep that place rocking.
Exactly. With how crazy the state of the art designs are with these stadiums recently I don’t think this would be a problem. Will this ever happen? Probably not, but damnit we can hope and dream about that beautiful structure

The only way to University Of Miami will ever have its own stadium, and I mean ever, is for a deep pockets multibillionaire to build it on his own dime. Minimum we are talking between $500 million-$1 billion to make something that people want to go to.

This is literally the only way it’s possible.

As far as the land and the moving of the high school, I’m no expert on the feasibility of that. But the first step is a deep pockets billionaire that is willing to pay for it himself, and not ask for any kind of governmental funding. The actual money and how to secure the funding has always been the issue. Obviously it’s never going to be built on campus, but if they can get around 20 acres somewhere else and solve the traffic feasibility, it’s possible. But I would say it’s a miracle if ground is broken in 2022.

Put a competent product on the field and hard rock will be just fine. Loudest venue in the country when we’re rolling.

Put that money towards support staff and other facilities.

Dude got the pockets to do the whole project himself but I’m sure others will pitch in. Break ground at the end of 22’ **** I hope it happens
