As you can tell from the board, my argumentativeness is not limited to one place. I realize that some people may choose to draw some conclusions, and I may never be friends with everyone.

But you know that I'm going to fight for truthfulness and accuracy the entire time. I'm tired of the agendas and the bullsh!te. Time to bring some argumentative sunshine.

I don't know if Jurich or Mario or Alonzo or Jose or Jorge will have all the answers or bring us another championship. But I know they are all qualified and will make an amazing effort to succeed, which is way more than we can say about Beta Blake.

And Lane is almost certain not to get an interview, let alone a job offer. It's taken a few weeks, but finally people are seeing what the BOT is like.

I still think Epstein's biggest "power" fear is the AD job, not the HC job. HCs can be hired and fired, but the AD usually cultivates some power within the University. Even Beta Blake did.

You need every sentence parsed to the most minute detail or you see an opening I guess. Each side has an agenda and will push that agenda even to the detriment of the process. That is how they're the same in my eyes. Epstein is leaking stuff allegedly and your guys are about installing a shadow regime where they pull all the strings if the posts on this board are to believed. Clearly they didn't do it well enough because it appears they've been stopped in their tracks.

You think they're immensely qualified and the one sports franchise they do run would speak to them being wholly unqualified to make major decisions on behalf of UM Athletics.

You were personally offended by the two sides being mentioned in the same sentence and it set you off. And now you're wailing because I didn't remember the details in the exact order of something that happened 10 years ago.

And for the record, I don't "hate" David Epstein. I know he means well. I'm not a fan of sending him profane stuff on Twitter.

But he's also not a guy accustomed to being challenged and told that his "****e" stinks. This kind of targeting is going to be a shock to his system.

You and I (and others) have been having this same conversation for a while. The Trustees are, individually, very talented and successful people in real life. That doesn't mean they should be on the board for 20 years, and it doesn't mean they have any training or aptitude for NCAA Athletics issues.

I wish David Epstein would just defer to the judgement of others on these issues. Sadly, it does not seem that he is up for that deference, and will fight and kick and claw to get his way, in spite of the urgency of the bigger picture.

All good brother. I have zero control over who the next AD is going to be so I try not to take this **** TOO seriously. I'm mostly here for ***** & giggles but I understand how some of the stuff I post would suggest otherwise.

I don't want their decision making furthering the hole Miami has to dig out of. But by all means donate and fund buyouts. Probably all they're good for.

Remember how the old USSR cycled through about five premiers in 10 years before they finally ran out of old guys who once played for Bear Bryant, and then they brought in Gorbachev? It's like that.

Dude, without them we’re the same Miami that no real coach or AD would want to deal with. If they want to drop $30 M or so a year behind their efforts, that in its own right is a game changer. I’m sure there are other billionaires who know more about sports management but they’re not lining up to fund us so… it’s a **** of a lot better than where we’ve been. At least the names were hearing are qualified people like Judith and Cristobal.
