If it is true that Frenk's guys bypassed the BOT to fire Blake then it appears somebody knows what they're doing. We just have to hope Frenk and his boys do it again. Get the candidates from the firm and then hire the AD to bypass the infighting.
 
Did a little research and the search firm we are using helped hire ACC and PAC 12 Commissioners who everybody in the media deemed as home run hires. So it’s probably a good thing that they are involved but obviously this thing can be hit or miss.

I’m gonna sit this one out, lol. Wake me up when this sh*t is over. It aint the end of the world if we don’t get Jurich though. Would have been a grand slam obviously but plenty of good and capable ADs out there. The world isn’t ending if he doesn’t come.

I didn't take away that he said that's how Blake was fired. My understanding is Frenk fired him. The issue is/was that people working for Blake and others in Hecht never saw it coming and there wasn't a real plan in place in the immediate aftermath.

This shows there was and is no master plan. James was fired a week ago and they’re just now starting a search for an AD. Between that and all of the infighting and the fact we STILL have Diaz as HC. Forgive me for being skeptical and not drinking the kool aid. We had insiders two days ago saying an AD was secured and now they’re starting a search firm 🙄. Sounds really well thought out

A member of the UM BOT has been leaking info in order to sabotage the athletic department. WTF. We are likely not getting a huge upgrade to the HC position because David Epstein wants to hold more power.
