People make fun of Mario like he’s a bum but legit big programs have reached to him including Ou and ND. I live in Sec country and everyone here wanted Mario for their job opening. Yet we have 40 % of this board we only want him because he’s Cuban and a Miami guy. Which is very disingenuous and dishonest.

Guess I’ll change my idea that we can have nice things…was just reported by the Athletic that Mario is still planning on making all of his recruiting visits today.
Doesn’t sound like a coach getting ready to bolt across country….Lord I hope they have a backup plan not named Manny

Then Mario would not have been truthful based on his reported thought process. By all accounts this would be uncharacteristic of who he is.

Wrong. It was all about golden and feedback he got from former canes. Mario wa super upset we hired Manny Diaz so fast without giving him a call.

This will be the end of the Mario and Miami saga. He either gets his wish finally, or he never coaches at the university of Miami.

Makes me think he comes
