Ruiz: Decisions are expected to be made today.

Needs to happen today for all parties involved. Mario doesn't want this hanging over his head either way. Stick with Oregon and make a statement for recruiting or come home and hit the S. fla recruiting trail hard tomorrow morning. Oregon wants him to commit or move on. Maybe we haven't given him a deadline but I'm sure Oregon wants him to sign that extension or let them move on. I'll bet their AD is already looking for a new head coach.
 
My pure speculation...it was a done deal weeks ago. Mas/Ruiz/Lemonis are not going to let themselves be very publicly shot down. If Mario communicated that he preferred to stay at Oregon then the Columbus group would've already moved on to plan B. I believe this slight delay is due to Mario wanting to do his exit "the right way".

The rumor yesterday that Mario had talked to Wesley B helping with his decision to commit confirmed it.At least to me.

If these two are going to be our future and the money Is going to be there to bring in an elite staff then let’s get going.We have 9 days remaining until ESD to save and put together whatever is left of the recruiting class.Hopefully several of the studs Mario had in line to sign with OU will follow Mario to the “U” like several of the top OU commits did with Riley.

A top 20 ranking this year would be outstanding considering the timeline everyone will have had to work with.After this year I expect Marios classes to be in the top 10.

So let’s get this boat in the water everyone it’s time for Mario to go fishing ( for stud recruits).

I didn't hear about this Wesley rumor but i find it hard to believe that they would take so much precaution to keep this quiet and then risk it all by telling an 18 yr old.
 
What I have heard is that Mario has given Oregon through this morning to meet a certain $ amount and if they don’t offer this certain amount he is ours.

It was something rumored in one of the threads on him committing.Not sure how true it is but it’s feasible I guess since I cant imagine a big time LBer committing to a lame duck coach but who knows.

If he did or didn’t who knows but I still think Mario is done but that’s just my opinion and if my opinion is like my picking of winners and losers in the football games Mario will say no thanks ,Manny will get extended and we will all be going through this Again next year…..Lord I hope not.

Stop it. This is a video game and emotions dont exist. Except when it comes to Miami and then there can be emotions. 👀

I don't believe that because Mario stated (forgot where I read this) that his decision wouldn't be about money. What you heard would contradict this.

There is no way Mario (specifically Mario) talked to Wesley on behalf of Miami while being employed by Oregon. I'd be incredibly surprised. That's over the line.
