My thoughts exactly. Still no definitive information on anything including a timeline.
Why would you think it would be easy for Mario to make a decision? Guy is invested in his team, his players. They just lost their OC and had a terrible, emotional loss. It's literally been 24 hours.I wish the new AD would communicate how important that it is to get this going already. Mario can't sit on his extension forever. The longer no decision is made the more awkward this situation becomes for everyone, including Manny.
If you're going to fire Manny go ahead and do it already, or tell Mario no and let CIS meltdown but this no activity thing is crazy. We already have the AD. He's officially said so. What could be taking so long to get his paper signed and to put him to work?
Its like they secretly don't want Mario or something and are slow playing him. This should be easy.
I don't like what I saw against Utah but I think that Mario could still take us to the next level and perhaps beyond over time.
It's not like he hasn't had time to think this through. The rumors have been circulating for weeks now. He's heard them. He knew he could be faced with this decision weeks ago.Why would you think it would be easy for Mario to make a decision? Guy is invested in his team, his players. Agreed, folks need to stop acting like he just started considering coming to Miami when the PAC 12 championship game ended. He knows what he wants to do, so make the decision. We need to move on with the process and we can’t until he decides. It's not like he hasn't had time to think this through. The rumors have been circulating for weeks now. He's heard them. It should be made as far as he is concerned.
I really meant it should be easy for Miami. Make Mario a public offer. He accepts or rejects. If he rejects then keep Manny or go to option 2. Its like we're stalling.
