I played and I don’t agree with anything you just said. Those years you listed most players make the biggest gains in weight and strength in their life. Your testosterone is sky high and you’re in a D one strength and conditioning and nutrition combo for the first time in your life. you will put on size if you take it seriously and anyone who says different, flat outs never done it. Anything else is just excuses.lol you can always tell who never played
Sports at the collegiate level or beyond when they talk about weight. I don’t think y’all truly understand how hard it is to put on weight when you are naturally skinny at 18-20 years old. You can lift and eat all you want, but when you are conditioning/running every day it’s extremely hard to keep weight on. Yes some kids don’t put in the work you need to gain weight, but also don’t bash kids when you have no idea how hard it is for some of them.
