The second one, 1960Wow! SMALL WORLD.
What class?
Dont forget Lester Williams and Bob Nelson. For all the losses and bad teams during the 1970s, the Canes had some outstanding Dlinemen...Carter, Eddie Edwards, Don Smith, Gary Dunn, Don Latimer, Tony Cristiani, etc...Tribute to long-time DL coach Harold Allen and congrats to Rubin Carter!
Was shocked he did not pan out in the NFL. Not to be a @*@ but he went to Fort Lauderdale High School. The Flying L's.He was the Hardest Hitter all 4yrs at UM....and there was many Destructive players on those teams...

Old 76 was listed in the game programs as 6'0" 235 lbs., but he really was 5'11" 250 lbs. Still, he was a force, would always command the middle of the DL, and always took on 2-3 OL.Had some injuries....but to be honest, he was small 6'0 235...

I'm talking about Rubin Carter (old 76). I was an undergraduate in those years, and I used to see him on campus on a regular basis. He was built like a tank! His upper body and biceps were tree trunks. One of my favorite old Canes of all time. A true GOAT!I'm talking about Rod Carter LBer #91
