Frierson will be a Redshirt Soph next yr

That was no cap towards this years group or what they did today. There all Canes i just think Brooks an Huff are going to be some ballers!!!! And i was a lil dramatic sayin "right now" next year those boys will be ready! Def appreciate how our boys played in the biggest game of the year! First time ive felt good all year!

But......having McCloud return in addition to Sam Brooks who has earned some playing experience should mitigate that to a significant extent. Add guys like Jennings, Joyner and Steed to go along with the EE freshmen Mathis and Austin-Cave and all of a sudden we have great competition at the position and that gives us options and in turn flexibility.

I think that the young pup Huff is going to be A PLAYER as well(after taking a ‘shirt this year)....

I like Huff a lot too, but I think the staff is gonna be real slow with him, because he had an academic redshirt this season & didn't get in school until late August.

He hasn't been through a full Spring or Fall camp, so I don't see them rushing him into the lineup too soon for next year.

wrong OL and LB are a different animal . **** the trio from 4 years ago with Mcloud , pinkney and Shaq were **** good as freshmen . They made mistakes sure but they plenty of plays . Our LB will pretty solid next year . Mcloud will be the leader but we have some talent and I bet we get 1-2 portal LBs as well. Also we will have the best DL and a top 5 secondary in the country as well to help them out.

People that know football aren’t sleeping on Brooks, so leaves about 10% of this board

We could potentially have, Rousseau, Garvin, Jaelan Phillips, Jahfari Harvey, Cam Williams to go along with 2 incoming Frosh in Romello Height & Quetin Williams, plus Chantz too but he broke his wrist I believe or something just a few weeks ago so I expect us to Redshirt him.

And that's not even including the stout DT group we got with Ford, Silvera & Miller, then 3 young monsters in Jarred Harrison-Hunte, Jalar Holley & Jason Blissett, plus Elijah Roberts & Willie Moise coming in.

Our DL is gonna be STACKED for the next couple years.

Too bad all of them will leave early as UDFA or 6-7th round draft picks
