Let's give thanks to Richt for the few things he gave us. If it wasn’t for him we wouldn’t have the New Indoor Practice facility, biggest contribution Richt made to this program.

without richt Miami isn't paying coaches market value like they are either. Miami under richt went from one of the cheapest football budgets in power 5 to at worst middle of the pack that counts for something lets not forget also what a mess this roster was when he took over yes his offense needed to be fixed and he needed to make changes he wasn't willing to do so his retiring turned out to be a godo thing but had he been willing to make those changes what he had done in 3 yrs here was good enough for him to stay

Richt walking away from the buyout was a class act. And while his tenure as HC wasn't what we had hoped for, you are right, he brought many things to the table:

IPF, Miami Nights, Paradise Camp, better nutrition (OK, still not great but better than Muscle Milk)

In retrospect, we are in a better position having had him here.

Don’t forget that unforgettable 6-play playbook on offense. While I’m all for giving him a statue or a plaque outside the IPF, all of those 6 plays should be etched in bronze to stave off epiphanic episodes 50 years from now.
