The following roster levels have been updated to reflect 247Sports rankings. Previous entries had been for Rivals alone

Some immediate callouts:
  • This is the fourth straight year that we have brought in double digit four/five star players (either through HS or transfers). The last such streak ended in 2006.
  • Under 247Sports, Al Golden's first class in 2011 actually fared better. Chickillo was listed as a five star player
  • Miami suffered absurd short-term attrition in 2010, 2011 and 2012 classes. Well over 40% of committed players left within 2 seasons
  • Miami has gotten much better in not just taking guys that they know will not qualify. Between 2004 and 2013 we had 13 players who committed who failed to be on the team for their first opening day kickoff. Since 2014, it's just three players

Roster Levels:
  • This is Miami's highest total number of four/five star players since the 2010 season. 247Sports has not done a transfer reclassification for Roche and King yet, and when they do I would anticipate that both would be reclassified as four star athletes
  • 2020's roster level presumes LOI for all committed athletes
  • 2019 saw the highest single year of total roster attrition during the 2007 - 2020 span, although year 2 for Al Golden and Randy Shannon came very close.
