Rosier's legacy on the line Saturday night?

We're being very dramatic about the kid. He has 1 loss to his name. Let the man cook.

Narrative #1 : Remember that QB who was benched and then came back to win the Canes 1st ACC Title, propel them into the playoffs and started the resurgence of The "U" Part 3.

Or Narrative #2 : Remember that QB who lost his last three starts to Pitt, Clemson, and Bama in the Orange Bowl, and subsequently lost his job in the Spring to N'Kosi Perry/Jarren Williams.

Honestly even if we lose out it won't be #2 . It'll be remember that average QB that was incredibly clutch and got us 10 wins and led the U back. We're back even if we lose out. Recruiting classes the next few years are gonna be incredible and we'll have Perry or Williams running the offense next year regardless.

What happens on Saturday won't define Rosier's legacy. He still has another chance next year to lead this team to glory.

You forgot one:
#3 ) QB who won the first national championship for Miami since Ken.

I forgot to mention, it's cool you're on a first name basis with Ken.

while I will be cheering loudly for the Canes on Saturday we need to put this season in perspective. My view is Rosier has over achieved to this point and has done a great job putting together a 10 win season. He was not a highly recruited QB and was taken to be more of a backup (even per Richt). Along with losing Walton (and now Hearndon) i am not going to consider this season a failure no matter how it ends. We got 10 wins and beat FSU, you cannot take that away (even if FSU sucks this year).

Now, unless we do at least win on Saturday I expect an open QB competition in the spring as I do not think Rosier has the most QB talent on the team.

Either way, I see a successful year and am grateful for the leadership Malik has demonstrated.

- Beat FSU
- Won 5 games in which we were losing at half time
- Has two game winning drives in late 4th quarter
- Handily beat VT and ND
- Passed for 2800 yards, 25 TDs, 9INTs
- Rushed for 408 and 5 TDs
- Led Miami to a 10-1 regular season record and a ACCCG

Rosier's 2017 legacy looks pretty **** good if you ask me...

Not bad for a first year starter.
