Rosier's best passing game overall

To give credit for beating scub teams such as Toledo completely fail at any football supremacy.

Have we lowered the bar so much that performing the way he should aganist Toledo deserves credit?

He threw the ball to a wide open WR and we have to give him credit? He is supposed to do that. When a LB tackles someone do we all stop to give him credit? Do we say, yeah but he gets credit for tackling that one guy.

This is not a better version of Malik. He is exactly the same as he has always been. All this is...is a QB that played Toledo. He is not replicating this against better teams because those teams...well, will be better.
 
Toledo his junior year was a far better performance. 333 yards, 75% completion, 4 total TDs.

I'm curious if teams are defending him differently now or what. He's clearly never completing 75% again, and it's hard to believe it's because he's gotten worse.

They do, Pittsburgh gave every team the blueprint on how to defend him. Bring the house, and press the WRs. Pitt forced Malik to throw into tight windows or beat them over the top with the deep ball in 1on1 coverage. Neither of which is his strong suit.

It is a UM football board. Supposedly, there are UM fans here. So, yeah, when the QB does some things that help us win a game some people are going to enjoy that moment because they actually love UM and choose to enjoy the good moments of a season that flies by instead of sitting here for 13 week’s sticking pins in our Malik voodoo dolls with a perma-scowl on our faces and volatility in our thug thumbs.

Try to enjoy some good moments, all you tough guys. We know you hate Malik, and it’s noted that you called it ahead of time the next time he shyts the sheets. We all know it’s coming.

I am all for enjoying the moment. I think most enjoyed most of the game.

But respectively, enjoying the moment is different than suggesting that our QB is anything other than what he is. The OP post was reasonable and rational. The responses...not so much.

And everyone is a fan. People are just different and express themselves differently. Does not mean they do not love the team any less. Many do not want this kid starting and there should be nothing wrong with that. And there should be nothing wrong with debating whether his performance warrants more starts without being called a "hater." We are all fans.

Calling out people that are critical of him or calling these people names just sounds like people with hurt feelings who cannot take any criticism of their favorite team. Name calling is no less destructive than what many feel about the criticism.

Every one is a fan and they are all just different.

No way in **** last yr FSU was a good game from him. Maybe a good 4 mins, that it.

His previous best game was vs ******* Toledo last year....you know because they're a cupcake team.
This performance should be expected when we playing teams like this. So I don't feel the need to give him praise for it. I wish he could have played like this vs ******* LSU, but he can't and never will vs good teams.

Start Perry, Weldon, or Jarren for ***** sake. At least put them in the game for experience.

If Malik plays like he did last week the rest of the season, we win out and meet Clemson in ACC Championship.

I don't name call I respect all different posters. I come in peace always I have played almost to the show and can see when teams favor certain teammates receive a spark as what happened with Mayfield in Clev. I will dispute watching bs Trainwreck in a non demeaning or harmless and manor especially as a fellow Cane's fan even though I have grad from another Alma. Rosy has heart but not ideal to even compete well on most big games. I don't fk 6 only hot chicks 8s and up. Mediocracy doesn't fit well with me.
 
I don’t know what’s more disheartening; the fact that we’re praising a QB who beat a G5 team or the fact this said QB was put in a position to lead us to victory over a G5 team.

Anyways, my hope is that Rosier finds some sort of semblance of being a QB for the duration of the season. By hook or crook, I just want to win. Obviously we’re not national championship contenders, but let’s finish off w a **** good season, at least.

So first thing first, let’s beat the brakes off of FIU to lead us into ACC play
