Rosier

A great Cane said "big players make big plays in big games". It always starts with the QB... where's our big play QB?

How bad must Jack Allison be? He couldn’t beat out Rosier for backup duties last year? And had to transfer???

Rosier is a great athlete, but not a great quarterback. It’s hard watching him pass.

Jesus guys, be somewhat thankful when a player who shouldn't have been on the roster blasts past anything that was expected of him. It's like a basketball game, you lose your two best players and the last guy on the bench puts up 50 through 3 quarters and goes ice cold in the 4th. I guess you can say the guy wasn't clutch, or maybe be impressed that he gave all he had. Rosier set the record for TDs by a QB at Miami. All time. If Kaaya comes back Rosier likely never gets another start as a Miami qb. Richt didn't recruit him, he wasn't recruited by any other P5 schools, the offense was never intended to run through him, and yet he got us to a play-in game for the playoffs. If you see him on the street, shake his hand and say you appreciate his help with in getting Miami back on the national map. That's all there is to the story.

The easy thing to do is blame Rosier. Last year, Kaaya went from being a preseason 1st round QB to fans calling for him to get benched midway. The offense Miami is putting out there would make many college QB's look pedestrian. There is very little creativity and with enough film study you should be comfortable on defense, pretty tough position to be in as a QB.

Also doesn't help when you have a GA masquerading as a QB coach.

I know what you're getting at, but Rosier really does suck. He completed 42% of his passes tonight, and it wasn't his first time this year achieving such a feat. Richt has coached a #1 QB draft pick. I have faith in that.

Miami wins this game if he doesn't throw that bonehead INT in the end zone when it look like Miami was about to take over the game in the 3rd. He was the best we had this year but if he's the starter next year, Richt needs to go.
