Rosier stats last part of the season

Completed over 50% of his passes twice in the last 6 games. 11 TDs to go with 8 INTs. Going over the last 6 games and his season overall we relied way too much on big explosive plays. We were never able to sustain drives because of this.

I don't see us beating Wisky with Rosier, even with home field advantage, unless the D scores at least twice (not impossible).
Their defense is pretty stout and can exert pressure. Even though our receivers should be open because of our speed advantage, the ball won't get there unfortunately.

As bad as Malik has looked, there's too much pressure on him to get the offense going when the running game can't gain any yards. That's difficult for any quarterback to do.

You should see how many rush yards we had it in those final six games versus the first six games. It might be a better indication of where the problem lies.

That's a chicken or the egg argument. Teams are stacking to stop the run and daring Rosier to throw. He is missing wide open looks down the field and therefore can not loosen the defense up to run. Our run game is suffering because he can't hit an open receiver. If at any point against Pitt or Clemson he hit the easy, wide open deep looks they gave him. The defenses would have had to loosen up and the run game would have surfaced as it did in mos of our early games. Our entire offense relies on Rosier's ability to hit the homerun ball down field and create room for us to run the ball.

Funny thing is, we tried several of the things many on this board were calling for. Tried rolling him out, moving the pocket, crosses, etc, and he still didn't hit. He doesn't throw on the run particularly well.

Rushed for over 200 yards vs vt and he competed just 50% of his passes and threw about 3 picks.

Looking at the missed opportunities in all those games sucks. In the 1st 5 games we would have blown out all our opponents, and vs Clemson had a chance to make it a game.We didn't need a super star QB either, Just not a huge liability. It's off topic but ppl calling for an OC or saying Richt can't call plays. How do we even know what the gameplan was vs Clemson when your QB cant even hit the open throws to get the offense in a rhyhtm? No amount of Motion or misdirection was going to make Rosier any better of a passer. And you can't rely on bubble screens unless you have some type of threat deep. At this point teams know that even if they are beat deep Malik can't hit the target so they can play close to the WRs.

It is without question the ****tiest shtick I have seen to date on this site. Instantly kills any possibility of the (unlikely scenario) content being posted being worth reading.

100% on the money. when you look at the entire season, we left, easily, 5-7 TDs on the table (if not more)...heck, against Pitt alone we left 3 TD passes where we had wideouts wide open and he couldn't make the throws.... against, UNC another 2 (with great field position). He seemed to throw at the receiver instead of throwing where the receiver was going to be.

I give Richt a lot of credit this season. He guided our team to 10 wins with a significant impediment at QB. I love Rosier's calm demeanor and there's no doubt that helped us win games (FSU, Ga Tech) but his deficiencies cost us dearly in our 2 losses and we are very lucky to have won 10 games this year.

I truly hope Perry can claim this team next year. He has had a year to learn the system, see the game from the sidelines (a very underrated but important part of learning how to play QB), studied film and prepared. No disrespect to Rosier as he is a gamer and tough as nails, but I think we have seen his ceiling.

I thought throwing down field is opening up the playbook. Some fans can’t see what is going on the field and revert back to the “play calling” is the problem.
