Rosier starting against Duke

Thanks for posting this. Here we go again with the fans don't know s-hit about football rhetoric: “A lot of things get bantered around by people that don’t — I’m not saying they don’t know football, but they don’t know exactly what’s going on. It’s hard for people to figure things out."

I am going to be honest it doesn't take a savant to realize your offense is complete s-hit. Stop with the coaches are on such a high-level of football knowledge that the fans don't understand what they are seeing. We know exactly what we are seeing. We are seeing an offensive staff which has relatively no clue how to game plan for opponents and a QB coach who couldn't get a coaching job at Miami Country Day.
Yep. It really is astonishing. I don't believe Perry is in trouble, Rorcht doesn't seem like a liar and although he may want to protect a kid, could easily say, he's getting some personal things situated, etc. Then to call out people's intelligence, like we don't see innovative schematic offenses every weekend; while his garbage continuously stalls like Fred Sanford's pickup truck. I can't believe it but he's actually more dug in than Grohlden with defense.

Everyone has just completely glossed over this comment yet keeps speculating on why he’s not playing Perry......

“You need guys that are really veteran players. But these guys are talented and they’re learning as they go. And anytime you’re playing a freshman at any position across the board you’re going to get some inconsistencies as they’re learning to do it exactly the way they should do. But we’re getting there.”

Well, thank goodness we've got Mr. Consistent himself, #12, to start at QB so that we don't have to suffer the potential inconsistencies of playing a freshman...

As an avid fan and U Grad I have been following the U in all sports for 4 decades. Not living in the area I have still managed to see a few away games and several bowl games...and periodically travel down to Miami to attend games. For many of those years the games were not available on TV outside the area. This past weekend, I trusted my local paper to check the game schedule and it was listed as a Saturday game at 7:00 being busy all day I didn't find out the game was on Friday until it was over....so I missed it. I think it was an act of mercy from the football gods. Apparently we sucked even worse than the Virginia game. Maybe these same football gods can get CMR to get an OC and QB coach or just quit???? Sorry for rambling just plain fed up.

Funny post, and no offense intended, but there are just so many funny things about the statement "I trusted my local paper..."

Yes, you should be relieved that you missed the opportunity to catch the Canes play on Friday night. I envy you.

Yes, especially since I know the local paper completely screws something up at lease 4 or 5 times a week, duh.

Calvin, forever the " eternal optimist. "

Well i know we got the right staff in place for the most part with 2 questionables. I'll know for sure come next year. I didnt expect us to have a better year than last year once Ahmon got hurt as well as when they named the starting o-line mainly, you cant scheme around that many flaws. But Ahmon would've made it alot better, cause defenses would've been on their heels.

He wouldn’t start in the Southern Conference either. Not in Samford QB class, and they aren’t good.

Agreed Samford QB looks like Brady compared to him, but there may be some ****** triple option team in the FCS with a losing record that Rosier could potentially get some playing time on.

But he can’t make one read in read option plays as it is.

This is very true. I honestly was just giving him the benefit of the doubt saying he could start on an FCS team. Honestly the only time I have seen a worse QB on a college field was at a local D3 school(the school only won 1 game that season) and it would be a close competition.
