Rosier starting against Duke

Wtf!!! I don't know why I'm surprised. This is laughable. Definitely a bad dream that's also comical at the same time.
 
Guaranteed this is Richt’s thinking:

If he plays Williams vs Duke or GT it burns his shirt if he then plays from there on out.

If he then waits to VT that’s his first start in a hostile environment (and even a logical person can understand that’s not ideal) so he won’t do that.

He then figures based on how next couple weeks go he can maybe get him snaps against Pitt and maybe our crap bowl game, preserving the eligibility.

All buoyed by the thinking “hey we can still right the ship and Malik just needs to get back in a groove. Hey we won 10 last year”

The problem is that is all flawed thinking of optimistic narcissist.

We are at a cross-roads. Last year is proving to a complete mirage. He is about to completely lose the team (vs being just ****ed right now) and definitely lose the fan base. The environment will now be a combination of apathy and toxicity around this program.

Facepalm....

You probably stood by Al Golden to the very end.

There's no way you can look at Rosier's play and think he gives us the best chance to win. Not unless you sniff glue on the regular.

We don’t have a qb that gives us the “best” chance to win... the point is the entire coaching staff believes NKosi is even worse than Rosier whether it’s preparation maturity or both... it says a lot that NKosi isn’t the clear and away starter no questions ask.

He’s not going against Kelly Bryant, he’s going against Malik Rosier.. it says more to me about NKosi than the coaches... they recruited NKosi and Richt told Rosier he was trash to his face when he 1st got here, lol you all act like Richt who has coached plenty of QBs that are miles better than what’s on this team can’t see what we see??

If Malik Rosier takes the field... he’s not a real man. No way he should take the field knowing that he’s trash. At some point, as a man, you have to say the truth and tell yourself I can’t do this to my team.
 
itch out here throwing Malik to the Wolves. Expect the boos to be loud and constant...who cares if it's homecoming.

Agreed. With only 4 games remaining can’t we just start him, that way we don’t lose his redshirt?

Did you see them defend against Pitt on Saturday? They should all have been fired on Saturday night. 500 rushing yds to Pitt.

yes. pretty sure this is the case based on stuff others with access to Hecht have said elsewhere. IDK what will happen with Jarren. He has 3 games left to play in without losing the shirt. That means he can't use one of the last games or any possible bowl we make.

and for the record, CMR is NOT throwing any kid under the bus. He may have said last week Perry is in "good standing" but that could also mean "for the time being". We have no idea what else is going on. I wouldn't be surprised if there is more going on behind the scenes over the money video, or other stuff people allude to. Just because it isn't public, and CMR isn't calling Perry out, doesn't mean it isn't happening. It also keeps the University's name out of the press.

I highly doubt it's because CMR "doesn't like him". It's not kindergarten.

And you believe every word that the coaching staff tells you too don't you?

Look at @Roman Marciante evaluations over the weeks with Nkosi starting - Kosi can make the throws that Rosier could only dream of. Logical Canes fans knows that Perry's game is far from complete and he's probably not even the best QB on the roster (looking at JW). But to say Perry's not better than Rosier because Richt keeps naming Malik the starter is dumb.

It also says a lot that your boy Richt has a QB situation looking the way it does well into year 3 and no hopes of it getting better anytime soon given that we're not on any QBs this cycle. No matter how you chose to argue this, it all goes back to Richt.

I didn't know that. Nevertheless, I still think Duke's defense will be better prepared for Rosier and Marky Mark's bland offense and what not. But I'm probably wrong, again.:rolleyes:
