Rosier might be bad but...

Rosier was finished as soon as the QB whisperer pulled him out of the 2017 Pitt game.

Rosier had worked himself into a position where he believed he could come back (FSU) and ignored the naysayers - but when Richt yanked him he was confronted with his head coach not believing that. He has never been the same since. Even Richt said it was a mistake.

What Rosier gave us, was being ready every game to play a position that required more than his personal skill set, because Perry was/is worse; and couldn't beat him out in two years and the HC/ program put itself in the position of only these two choices.
That’s a new perspective I hadn’t thought of..but when u put that way I agree. He mis managed that situation. No doubt it had to sting 12s confidence. Ever since then he’s been looking over his shoulder. Even this year after the Toledo where rosier balled, MR gave him a quick yank the next week. MR mis managed the QB situation to your point

Personally I think this whole "Every QB sucks" narrative is the equivalent of BS "Cloud" excuse for the Golden Era. It's just lame, easy, crutch. While Rosier was no world beater(and looks downright inept at times), a competent offense could have been designed around the skills he had. You give someone like Cutcliffe at Duke, the same exact players we had....We would have had a competent offense ranked at least in the Top 50. I just don't see if you miraculously dropped in Will Grier, Tua Tagovailoa or Kyler Murray that things would automatically be better/fixed/(insert descriptor). Do you think those guys would lift this offense up or would they also be dragged down by the system? My opinion is the latter.
Brad kaaya is your answer to your question..an elite QB like the ones u named would def make a diff

How many pass completions did we have last night combined?

Rosy - Gone.
Perry - Will be bounced, Mork does not believe in premarital ***.
Williams - Any Brains at all he will transfer.

Welcome to the Weldon show.

Contrary to what Richt said last night, I still SEE-r Williams leaving the program. Williams knows their's just too much drama surrounding the program and all that.

Perry got put in with 3:30 left in the 3rd. Richt clearly thought being morally superior was more important than winning. IDGAF if Perry smashed the entire cheerleading squad and every teammate's girl. Richt is a prideful and stubborn ***.

Both Richts at this point are useless and a detriment to the team. period.

Richt is GARBAGE! Im 100% with you on that but Perry Banging a teammate's ex or current GF is a sign that he's a ****** human being.

You're not wrong, but it also says that girl's a hoe... I want to win football games. It's not like he's out there Aaron Hernandez'ing MFs.

I'm merely pointing out that richt doesn't prioritize winning, and not that Perry is some savior or anything.

The Clemson game he played in that year where Kaaya got knocked out the game shouldn't count.
then why count one game where the coaching staff was fired and the entire team railed to play inspired football for 60 minutes? Rosier isn't power 5 material, doesn't matter who is coaching the kid.

No, Coley schemed for him. Watch the actual game itself. Lots of screens and short throws, lots of 4-wide sets, and it was all predicated off effectively running the football...and it wasn’t just an inside zone.

Rosier is what he is, and even at his peak has way less talent then Perry.

I’m even okay with Aaron Hernanding it if he is balling 😂😂😂

I have very high expectations.

The love affair this fan base has with Malik is just downright ****** weird.

Yall deserve each other.

Rosier sucks at playing QB we clearly know this! Now add the combination of him and coach Richt who has only had a top 25 offense twice in his 20+ years of coaching and you get 3 points in a BOWL GAME. The main reason we won 7 games this year is due to our aggressive defense.

Not sure what Perry you watched. On the occasions he found his way onto the field, he didn't show enough "talent" or leadership to stay there. It might have taken him two seasons to win 10 games if he started.

Its a non-issue at this point. I'd like to think Perry could mature, learn the playbook, learn to read defenses, be coached up to become more accurate. Problem is, the program doesn't appear to have the tools to provide that development to QBs.
