Rosier...man, I don't know what happened. Hurt shoulder?

Malik and His family are at a serious cross roads and they need to have a come to Jesus moment. He will be senior this year so if Coach Richt doesn't name a starter until fall camp he is screwed, not to mention if he plays poorly early he will be benched for the rest of the season.

Malik needs to seriously up his game and to do this he needs private coaching from some like George Whitfield. It is expensive but the Whitfield has produced several heismen and national champion Qb's in the last 10 years.

Whitfield - Quarterback Academy, QB Training Camps

Malik needs to save all the money Miami is giving him for cost of living and borrow some more from his parents an go spend a few weeks at Whitfield's QB Camp.

Go Canes

why waste that time and money when he will never be a professional quarterback? he's too short, can't read progressions, and has a horrible release. those things don't get fixed over a summer, especially for someone as old as he is. he should really figure out if his baseball talent is still there if he wants to be a pro athlete, or focus on his degree and the job opportunities he will get from that.

In the beginning of the season he found a way to get the ball close to our guys so they could make the tough catch at the end he couldn’t hit anyone

But he really didn't. Not consistently, at least. Remember the Toledo game? BC? He was a liability all year, and teams figured him out. Why do you think Pitt's coach was so confident? Because he knew Rosier's limitations, and game planned perfectly for it. Something teams early on could not do. Sadly, now EVERY team can, and will dare him to beat them through the air.
Can't disagree. Loved his gutsy playing but.....qb not likely with what we jave in the wings. I see Perry as next up and Rozier as mop up. Could also plug him in on wildcat?

You guys remember when our defense kept us in games when we won titles? The offense wasn’t always clicking. Now it helps to put up forty but with this defense it doesn’t matter if we put up sixty those last 2 games..

Look man I don’t want to always dawg Manny. But I am looking at his history and it tells me we got 99 problems that go beyond Rick’s offense.

I just watched the final GT and FSU drives.

Against GT-
Rosier completed 5 bubble screens before the 4th down conversion.
Homer run.
Badge FG.
(can't believe he made it)
Game over.

Against FSU
Started 1-3.
2 nice runs by Homer.
2 incompletions deep left to Cager.
Hit Berrios in the flat for 10.
Then "The Catch".
Game over.
(Dam it was nice to watch that again).

At his best, Rosier was just "good".

you forgot the crazy 4th down catch against gt that came on a ball that would've been picked by a good safety.

to his credit, rosier made a lot of clutch throws this year. the problem is that his inconsistency was a big reason why he needed to make clutch throws in the first place.

If he makes the right throws/reads against FSU and GT, we don’t need last second heroics to win the games. If he makes the right throws, we get backups in earlier but he didn’t so...
His arm wasn’t hurt. The crappy play just caught up with us.

I believe you are wrong. MHO is If the offense(Malik Rosier) gave the defense a fighting chance specially early on in the Clemson game the defense would have responded. I believe they were demoralized after our QB couldn’t do his job and as young kids they must have thought “this muthaf’er here” and realized they had no shot with him as QB.

Football is an emotional game that momentum can shift fast. If you have the momentum you ride that sucka as long as you can.

I felt the defense held their own, and for most of the season they did keep us in games. I wouldn't have considered them elite, and overall they were young with most of the experience being on the line. With that being the case, in a year like this I would have expected the offense to do better to help carry the squad. Instead, week in and week out the defense had to scratch and claw and make up for short offensive possessions/mistakes (Miami placed 123rd out 129 teams in time of possession). It was eventually going to wear them out. It showed at Pitt, and continued through the remainder of the season.

Next year I expect the defense to make some major strides, on verge of elite, if not for sure elite (even with less experience on the DL). I would get on manny then, but for now I think the brunt of the blame is on the offensive end, and no it's not all on Rosier but he did struggle.

God bless Malik for leading us to our first 10 win season in over a decade.

With that being said, I hope he NEVER starts another game at UM.

Man what game were you watching because I was in the stadium? They gave up 3 straight TDs of Clemson’s first 3 possessions. I guess it is Rosiers fault too? Sure the offense sucked but the D was beyond atriocious..

For me it depends on who you compare him too. Who was our last QB to win 10 regular season games? Which other QB got us to the ACC Title game? Winning matters and he did that. That makes him the best we have had in a long time. Then again, clearly when the time came for his best game, it was just not good enough to get us to where we want to be. Just deciding which of the other QBs is best is not enough. We need one of our other QBs to be good enough to take the job from a senior QB who just got us to one game away from the playoffs.

I never seen Perry, da gawd, play. I'm gonna wait till dis Spring and then, after watching all da bois throw, I'll tell Richt wats up.

Well put, I agree

I was watching the same game you were. If our great QB hits JT4 in stride when he broke through the secondary and tied the ball game, it would have had a very different outcome. Our defense kept us in ball games/within striking distance throughout the season(GT,FSU,UV even Pitt) and the one time that the offense (QB) needed to Show up. After such an underwhelming performance at Pitt he lets the world know he was not dialed in or not into the game. Then At the ACCCG he starts off his usual awful self. Football is a game of momentum/Emotion. I believe the team lost its faith in our great QB but they still kept fighting but the doubt had invaded their minds since they knew our great QB was our Achilles heel. Would you be confident with a QB that can’t hit wide open targets? I don’t think so

Aye bruh Bruno Mars led us to a good run he really did. I’ll never diminish his efforts in those tight games we had this season, but it’s time to move on. Injury or not let’s just appreciate what he did.

He is a good kid and was the best we had this season as you don't want to start a true freshman but he ain't ever playing again.

When the competition level rose, fsu, he completed under 50%.

Thanks for getting us to 10 wins but we need a qb that is far more efficient.

The QB sucked but I have never seen so many people defend the other side of the ball at the expense of the QB. Look at Wisky and Clemson’s drives they were long sustained drives. Making a fu^king play! Not saying have a turnover every drive but how about breaking up a pass on 3rd down?

Sorry man the defense sucked period! It was pathetic to watch. Again the O is terrible but when you have Herndon, Richards and Walton out I give the O somewhat of a pass. Not a total pass mind you. Who was hurt on the D? It was a total implosion on both sides of the ball.

What is the excuse next year? “Oh this is Perry’s first year. Oh wait we lost RJ and Kendrick so wait until next year baby!”

Rick made a mistake hiring Diaz in the first place and you will see.
