Rosier is a symptom, Richt is the problem

I will just say that its the first game of the season, but it felt like the next game of last season. In a lot of ways, mentally this game was just a continuation of last season. It felt exactly the same. It was fitting the chain wasn't brought out tonight, they need to put last season behind and realize its a new and completely different season. It obviously starts with the quarterback. A lot of the other problems we had tonight, and as a team, can be overcome with better qb play. No team is perfect and we are a lot better than we showed tonight. Turn the page, go with Kosi and Weldon or both for the next 3 weeks at least and leave last season and this game behind.

Rosier is an inaccurate QB but you don't go 15/35 in a functional scheme. He's being hung out to dry on most of these 3rd down calls.

We run crosses. It's just that Rosier is unwilling to throw them, or throws them late and inaccurate. That crazy catch by Jeff Thomas where he spun back and caught it with his left hand was a crossing route. It was just a late, inaccurate throw.

No it's true. I'm starting to think Richt just took this job to give his son a job. There are multiple offensive coaches who can even with Rosier take the talent of this team and produce points. The offense is painfully predictable. I dont even think Richt knows how to run a RPO offense.

all richt has to do is ******* pull rosier

it's that **** simple, just ******* do it

That will help...but how will Weldon or Perry play throwing on 3rd and 11, or 3rd and 8 after they just made an incomplete pass on 2nd and 11 or 2nd an 8? Richt is still the problem here. He's a terrible playcaller with a spotty history of having a collegiate QB max out their potential regardless of his playcaller status since he left FSU. Nevermind his spotty acumen of evaluating QBs...need we bring up Deshaun Watson and Cam Newton?

Matt Stafford was a 51%, 55%, and 61% passer at Georgia. Matt Stafford. One of the best HS QB recruits of the modern era. The same Matt Stafford that, the minute he stepped foot onto an NFL field was a 65% passer (currently a 62% career passer).

David Greene was a career 59% passer, Aaron Murray was a 62% passer, DJ Shockley was a 54% passer. Joe Cox in his one year as a starter was a 55% passer.

Yeah, I know Mike Bobo was the offensive coordinator for most of those QBs, but lets not be blind to Richt's influence here. Bobo was at least a far better QB Coach than Jon Richt.

Every year with Richt it's clunky play calling that has zero flow, zero feel, horrible timing and is terribly predictable. Dude can't even give us a somewhat exciting/enjoyable offense with weapons everywhere.
