Rosier is a symptom, Richt is the problem

I'm not throwing the towel in on the season yet, but I will say that whatever happens this season is entirely on Mark Richt. Plain and Simple.

Rosier sucks? Richt didn't recruit a qb better than him
Our oline sucks? Either Richt hired a bad oline coach or he hasn't recruited at a high enough level
Punter can't kick it more than 20 yards? Well maybe that's a sign you need to bring another guy in
Gashed in the run game? Maybe you shouldn't have hired a coach who's had trouble stopping the run and maybe you should recruit Dline better

We can bounce back, but whatever happens... Remember, it's year 3 and this is Miami. We still have expectations.

I do not get why he didnt take rosier out. i just dont get it.

OL is bad but in last two classes we brought in talent. It just takes time.

Feagles is a nighmare.

Our LB's are overrated. Shaq is the only consistent one
 
It's plain and simple if we don't out athlete the other team we struggle. Richt has done a horrid job of putting players in position to excel.

Yep. And consider this:

We have 8 top 100 (247 composite) recruits on our roster (6 being freshmans). LSU has 9 starting on their defense.
 
The ONLY thing I can think is that, for this game, Richt went with Rosier believing a bad outing by a younger guy could hurt their development, and with scrubs ahead he can now throw all the young guys in and get working on the future. Nah, he's just hard headed. He went all in on the WRONG QB.

I tried to drink the koolaid the last few weeks, and it tasted good. As soon as I saw Rosier and Burrow's faces, I got a knot in my stomach. That **** koolaid was poisoned. I will never, ever drink that crap again.

The scary answer is the other guys are just that much worse...

These dudes don't know. They play madden and switch the WR to DE and rush the passer that way and think that you can do that in real life. The reason we don't throw intermediate much if at all is because our QB can't throw

We know that Richt, in his 3 years as a Miami coach, hasn't found a qb better than Rosier. Recruiting is perhaps the most important job of a CFB head coach. Richt so far has clearly failed at it. Hence, it's Richt, not Rosier.

At this point I don’t really know what to think of it because we went through the same thing with kaaya. The starter wasn’t necessarily determined on the talent and capabilities of each of the qbs, but on the stubbornness of the head coach.
 
Don't worry, the school extended his contract at the worst time like they typically do. Miami's stuck with Richt now financially regardless of the performance. Zero reason to have kept Rosier in other than an ego move.
