Root of the problem is the Athletic Department

We can all ***** and moan and rightfully so about Richt but the root of the problem is the athletic department and the powers that be.

Winning is secondary to the AD. Their number one priority is to “do things the right way” so they look for coaches that fit that bill.

Randy - A good man that had no business being a HC
Golden - A conman that sold doing things the right way as his primary goal
Mark Richt - A good man that is the poster boy for doing things the right way.

I have no problem with wanting to keep the program clean, but if winning is not your number measure then what is the point of all this.


Dan Mullen fell into the ADs lap and they declined to hire him because he was too arrogant and abrasive.

The Athletic Department and their priorities are the real problem with this program.

The administration does not give a **** about a program that used to be a real money maker for the school. You can’t make this stuff up. This school has ALWAYS been so poorly run. Was bad when I was there, and is bad now. Some things never change.
If they weren’t going to be serious about keeping the team on top, why didn’t they just shut it down? Nobody’s happy with the mess it’s been since 2003. It has to be losing money BIG time.

With all due respect you know I'm the author of this premise.

Coker, Shannon, Golden, and Richt are all symptoms. Don't blame them, they are simply bad at what they do for a living.

Blame the apathetic incompetent ***** that don't give a **** about actually winning and just want the football program to steer clear of negative headlines.

This program is ****ed.

We are in a bad irony. Richt became hired under the precept he is OC. But him being OC is THE PROBLEM!!

Yet he is now extended... He sucks and is predictable beyond belief. But it's why he took the job to be more "engaged" to the athletes. We ****erd.

Yes, I still support Mark Richt as head coach. And those of you that don’t might as well give up Miami football because he’s going to be here for awhile.
