I don’t blame manny for taking this job. The guy tired
To do it the right way by going to temple but his dream job opened up. I’m not sure he’s sabotaging lonzo. It could be Blake deflecting blame. Manny didn’t keep golden too long, manny didn’t hire richt and manny

I would have liked to see Romberg take a better approach on this interview. I wish he would have questioned BJ on the structure of the new role and not so much about a potential Manny-Highsmith dynamic type of stuff. The structure of the role will tell us if its something with "teeth."

What makes no sense to me is that James has to realize that bringing Zo in buys him a lot of time, because if anything goes wrong he can deflect the blame and pressure to him. But for some reason he’s still reluctant to pull the trigger on this.

reluctant to pull the trigger because if ZO improves the football then the credit goes to him and not James and it opens up the possibility for James to be replaced by the guy he hired.

He sounds very agitated, especially at the end around the 13 minute mark after his phone cuts out.

Papi Diaz...just my .02

He sounds depressed.

Lets hope he doesn't kill himself.

That would be terrible. And heartbreaking.

Manny‘s contract almost certainly has a report directly to the AD clause in it. Can’t likely make a new position work unless it reports to Manny, without Manny’s consent.

Romberg is a tool on the radio. He doesn't know or have the experience to do a great interview. I know he is a former title winner with the Canes but he got cold feet there. Runs his mouth to much outside of the studio to give him a pass on this.
