He’ll get booed, and it’ll either fck up our team’s morale getting booed at home in the first series of an important conference game, or it’ll galvanize them against their own fans, which does nothing positive for recruiting.

It’s a bad look either way, and, if for some crazy reason, there’s still a question in Rick’s spirit as to who should start, then he needs to take team, fan, and program morale into account.

Dabo named Lawrence the starter this week and Tua has been starting and getting a lot more snaps than Hurts since the start of the season. Furthermore, the young QBs on those teams had to beat out QBs with better resumes than Rosier. Not to mention, Bryant is five times better than Rosier. If Richt is not naming a starter just for strategic purposes, that's completely fine and understandable. But if he actually rolls Rosier out there on Thursday night, then @Cane Dynasty is probably right on what he has been saying about Richt. Rosier should not be playing anymore meaningful snaps in games this year unless there is literally no other option.

I'm going to make a wild guess here. Rosier will start (surprise!) in the first quarter. Then N'Kosi finishes by starting somewhere during the second qtr. It will throw off UNC's defense and give N'Kosi an advantage when he takes the reigns.

That's like saying we should start Bar Milo over Navaughn Donaldson, because that would surprise UNC (surprise!). Then we could bring in Donaldson in the second quarter to throw UNC's defense off.

No offense, but it's a dumb idea.

Just play the best players. And Richt will. Perry will play the whole game IMO.

Perry must of had a horrible practice yesterday if Richt already playing around with the lineup.

Richt has handled the QB competition as poorly as you can handle it in this day in age. In 1991 you can do what what Richt's doing but in today's game? QBs will just transfer when they have no clue what the coaches are thinking at the QB position.

i agree, he was supposed to be a QB guru, so i heard when we hired him, what a croc that is. Why would a top flight QB want to come here when there's proof Richt does not play the best player necessarily, but the one who ? I really dont know but all his excuses are lame
