Sure but he really doesn't get enough credit for Mauigoa and his brother. That gets downplayed a lot.

Also, Rod Wright was supposed to deliver David Hicks and he failed. That never gets talked about.

Joe has been here one full cycle and the DT position added (since after NSD last cycle): D. Jackson (since left), Horton, Gore and Deen.

Thats a lot of transfers but who's to say Mario doesn't want more older guys in the short term at DT.

Point is, the Joe hate is way overboard on CIS. Like WAYYYY overboard. Criticism is fair, but calling for his head...nah. his position group was one of the best groups on the dline last yr.

Nah I'm good with rod wright gone after DL recruiting anyone could go at this point. I give Mario all the credit he needs to lock kids up but he can't do it all by himself those position coaches have to help a bit.

Cribby also said Mario expected this and it should play out similarly time wise to the DC situation.

What I don’t understand at all, is why we are so insistent on starting spring ball so early. It’s clear at this point that Mario needs all the time he can get to put a staff together, so why risk starting spring ball without a complete staff?

You're really not this dumb are you?

It’s been scheduled for weeks- it’s not like you just go ahead and say everybody ”See you in a week.” There’s spring break involved here too - so much coordination - it’s not your kids 8 year-old league doing a practice on Wednesday night at 8 PM

You aren’t really this dumb are you? We are now in a second straight year where we don’t have a full staff the week going into spring practice.

It is possible for Mario to have the slightest bit of foresight when setting the spring schedule and say “hey I can start spring ball any of these weeks, I’m going to do a week or two later than I normally do so I can best ensure I have a full staff.”
