Rumor Rod Wright to Texans

this is what i was referring to a few weeks ago when i said i saw him at Publix on a near 90 degree day with warmups and a ton of clothes. it appeared to me that he was almost hiding his body. everyone he was with were in shorts and t-shirts. it looked odd and it looked like he weight 180 pounds.
And you are 100 percent right...i caught a flight out of FLL...about a month ago...and soon as i get out the car getting dropped off he was in the car directly in front of me doing the same thing...it was obvious it was him ..it was hot as **** and he was in um warmups..legit 6'5 plus bt still rail thin.

So almost every member of the worst UM coaching staff in 40 years has either been asked to look elsewhere or just plain fired? Good. I won’t miss a single one of them.

But yeah, it was the players’ fault we sucked last year.

lol well lets be fair, it was a team effort all the way around...

It was 60-40 players. And, yes, a bunch of the coaches started quitting too. But nobody can argue (outside of Gattis) that these were poor teachers of skills, they just didn't mesh together with each other and with the players.

it says a lot about how Mario is making changes. UM literally has not had this much staff turnover (without an actual change at head coach) since Jimmy Johnson's second season, and this was with a staff he inherited and had to keep from Schnellenberger. Even then, he actually kept some guys (Hubbard, Sol, Gary Stevens, Brodsky) around....

Last years staff just didn't fit or work well, I give Mario credit for doing what had to be done

Now wait a gah**** minute.....

Completely correct. And what is so important about what you say is the nature of the Schnellenberger/JJ coaching changes.

It wasn't a situation where JJ had "bad" coaches, they just didn't mesh with him, it was a shotgun marriage. The second half of that 1984 season was a disaster in every way, the coaching staff gave up trying to get along, and you could see the arguments.

But now, we have people with agendas trying to blame it all either on the players or the coaches. The "players" remind me of that Cowboys team that JJ inherited from Tom Landry and the "coaches" remind me of that Hurricanes team that JJ inherited from Schnellenberger. Put the two together and you have an absolute disaster.

Look, we've talked about these things. After the first month of the season, I was about 75-25 in allocating the blame between the players and coaches (particularly WRs who wouldn't run the right routes and some bad blocking whiffs), but as I saw seasoned vets like Steele and Strong giving up throughout the season, I shifted to 60-40. Good coaches gone bad...stopped trying to fix the leaky boat...a heartless performance at Homecoming by players and coaches, followed by a brief reprieve in Atlanta.

A lot of players AND coaches can **** off elsewhere for all I care.

Theres something wrong with the kid if he can't gain a pound of weight in one season.

Why is our fanbase littered with impatient children?
lol now that the coordinators are here, im good, but no one claim this fanbase is impatient. its nearly march lol. come on now. facts are that the staff should have been turned over a while ago and not this late, but changes got made so it is what it is. if you hit on them, no one will care. if you use another we dont have time to install what we want and we got in late, then thats on you and your process and no one should accept that. either way, we know 2 more will be hired and maybe another DB coach and thatll be the end of it. it should have been done well before spring ball starts. id suggest delaying spring start by a few weeks tbh
