Rumor Rod Wright to Texans

That’s Chris Partridge.

Chris is the NJ Coach from Paramus Catholic that Harbaugh brought to Mich back in 2015
Charlie is the FL Coach from Broward that’s been at Pitt since 03, with stints at Wisky, Ark & FAU in between.

They’re not related.

Thank you

I was gonna say, for all the years, even through different HC, we've been chasing, for that MFer.. for him to end up at Michigan would just plain hurt lol

So Mario, his right-hand man, Salave'a and Addae the only holdovers, with the latter two rumored to be on shaky ground. Wow. SIX departures, minimum.

How long til someone suggests that the upcoming season is  really like Mario's first?
Not gonna lie, I'm growing more and more skeptical of this Cristobal guy. The vast majority of his staff, the staff he hired, are either gone or on shaky ground. And last season was horrific.

Yeah, so he inherited a dilapidated house. A house that required a significant remodel. But he burnt the 'effer to the ground. His choice philosophically, choosing to essentially provide NO schematic advantages to the roster in place. I really hope this process leads to success, but on-field results were worse than expected, and staffing decisions - well how much worse could they have been? Some say there are folks on this board who are never happy. Well, aside from a very good recruiting haul, what is there to be so happy about? 5-7 and in complete upheaval.
U mad about 5-7 and mad about changes. So u not really mad about 5-7. Cuz thats wtf i would do off that season.

But CIS already gave up on him so he must be a bust.

Not to be disagreeable, but it isn't always binary. For example, I think Moss can be a monster. But not at 210 pounds. I think he needs another year or two of development. That doesn't mean I think he's a bust. My guess is most other CIS posters are in that same place. Hoping we can develop him but acknowledging he's not ready to have meaningful snaps.

Good luck to Wright.

More Moss talk though? That boys frame is light. I don't ever see him being a legit every down DE. People are talking metabolism and while that counts, he's more WR than DE build.

Yep, I'm ****ed about 5-7. An embarrassing 5-7 at that (Mid.Ten., Duke, FSU), and concerned that there will be no worthwhile continuity on the staff, aside from Cristobal and Mirabal - duplicates essentially. '22 shaping up as a wasted year. No free passes here. Coach needs to do better ON and OFF field. Anyone without his pedigree would have charred soles.

He will more than likely play standing up and rushing the passer. Before a growth spurt he was playing safety at Gorman so playing in space, tackling in space comes naturally to him.
