So here we are, rock bottom.

I've read about a time prior to the 80's where Miami wasnt a serious football program, and about in the mid-90's when sanctions were handed down. We had the Shapiro issues a few years back...

Nothing is lower than this in my lifetime. I have to think Miami is done as a viable power, and leadership is fine with that. They will make changes, but it will only be the bare minimum to get core supporters back in line, back into season ticket packages, back into supporting hashtags and some people will go right along with it, trying to blow smoke up everyone's @sses.

The only way out is to see FIU as a wake up call and cleanse the Athletic Department, losing to Duke might help that along.

This is the clown, still learning “How to coach 101,“ from an ESPIN article, "We've got to do a lot better job getting our guys prepared for this kind of game.”

This kind of game? You don’t get your kids prepared for a 3-td underdog? You don’t understand FIU is a wannabe, and will come out fighting? You don’t answer the opponents faking injury with your own when it counts? Just shut the phocking program down. That would be better than false promises every year.

FIU first fame I ever turned off and never checked the score on until the next day to confirm we lost. Duke will be first game I never watch at some point whether live or after.
I’ll wait until we give a **** about winning to root for winning this program would rather commit suicide

I'm gonna skip Duke also.

At this point, I truly wonder if they even care about the "core supporters" anymore. Miami admin seem like they've completely checked out.

Not only do they lose to FIU, but then there's total radio silence afterward.

A normal athletic department would have put out a press statement or addressed it somehow. Miami seems fine just letting the anger fester.

So let's go Duke let's go Duke 💪

Theyre purposefully ignoring it in hopes it'll go away. They look down their nose at their fans like they cant stand them.

The one thing fans seem to underestimate is that just when we believe it won't get worse, it will...

If you think this year is Rock Bottom, wait till next year, we got tough games against very well coached G5 teams in Temple & UAB, plus all our road games are potential losses, @ Mich St, @ GTech, @ UVA, @ Va Tech @ Wake Forest & home vs UNC is probably gonna be one of the toughest home games we play next year.

Not trying to be doom & gloom, but people really need to stop drinking the Kool-aid & wake the fck up, we're not trending up, we're on a steep decline as a program. A lot of people think it'll be better next year, but that's just delusional slurpper fan logic, this can & will get worse whether people believe it or not.

Diaz isn't going to suddenly become some Superstar coach by next year, he doesn't have the leadership to turn this team around. Anybody that thinks we're going to turn the corner next year is foolish & delusional, this ain't no 8/9 win team, this sh*t is going to hit 4-8, 5-7 type territory.

Prepare yourselves for even more let down, next year is gonna get ugly.

I haven't watched a game since Georgia Tech.

Didn't watch the FIU game. Didn't even watch FSU.

I figure if this admin, these coaches, and these players don't give a ****.... why should I?

I value my own time. This University doesn't care about making itself great, so why should I spend any time, money, or energy trying to support it?

This is exactly right. It always amazes me that there's a handful of people who can see this with perfect clarity, and then there's a lot of people who are completely blind.

It was the same thing with FSU. A lot of us saw the day they hired Willie Taggart that it was going to be a disaster. A lot of us said it about Manny the day he was hired.

It just truly amazes me. These are multi-million dollar train wrecks happening in slow motion right in front of our eyes, and all you can do is sit here and laugh at the carnage.

Manny is clueless.

I almost want to cheer for Duke to run a train on the defense, but I don’t think I can bring myself to do this.
surely by now even you must know that whatever will get Diaz fired the fastest is the best thing for the program.

close your eyes, Bro .... and slowly repeat .... GO ..... Blue ..... Devils ! LOL that didnt hurt too bad did it ?

I totally agree next season 4-8 to 6-6 is very, very real. This isnt gonna get ant better without huge changes, but all of that begins w/ FIU... its all rock bottom from here. We are officially trash now, so doing trash things is now the expectation.
