Robert Knowles was the Scrimmage Leading Tackler...

Lol. A safety has led the team in tackles every year since Diaz has been here.

It's 2019. Offenses spread teams out and force one-on-one opportunities for their receivers. DBs have to be able to tackle now. Very few teams play in a phone booth, running the ball out of "pro formations", right at the middle linebacker anymore.

Guess what? You can post all the miss tackles you want. He is still goin to see the field. Constant *****ing wont change that

He will play until Bubba Bolden is ready. We only need 4 safeties and 3 will play the majority of the snaps. Carter sounds like the one who could be the odd man out if Derrick Smith keeps playing the way he is and Knowles truly is going to see the field.

I posted this on another thread, but here it is again in case it was missed
I forget if it was FSU or LSU, (I think LSU), but the corner was totally out of position and not even in his area of coverage. The running back was running clear at the sideline, and Knowles was in no man's land having to make a choice of sticking with the receiver or coming up and making
a play on the running back. The play was actually reviewed to determine if the running back was across the line, he had stopped and threw
a pass as Knowles had decided to play the run. The pass was complete to the wide open receiver for a touchdown and the running
back was ruled at the line of scrimmage when he threw the pass. Knowles probably thought that he was already passed the line when he decided to
play the run. Had the corner been in position, the play would have most likely would have turned out very differently. I am not making any excuses for
Knowles, or am I a fan, as he has had his share of mistakes, but sometimes things are not exactly as they seem. But the message boards lit up
the next day, and he has been really slandered since.

Y'all gotta get off this Knowles bashing seriously.

Everyone's job was up for grabs per Diaz back in January remember? Well if these guys cant beat out Knowles then that's on them not him.
It's not that everyone is bad, it's that Knowles has gotten better. Unfortunately, most of CIS is stuck on the past passing judgment on these kids as if they could never improve. It's really played out and I wish it would stop, but it won't unless Knowles shows out.

**** y’all stay on this kid nuts. He’s goin to play. Just hope he makes a play if it comes to it. Get over it

If we treat everyone the same - we tell N'Kosi to go sit on the bench beside Knowles. It's not like N'Kosi was stellar last year, either. In fact - there's plenty to go around among returning players.

If Knowles is getting it - Drive ON!

He's the 4th safety at best behind Gurvan, Amari and Smith and Bubba probably passes him once he gets to campus. I wouldn't lose much sleep. Weren't there scrimmages that Mike Smith was balling out?

Knowles has always been a good to great special teamer, so the athleticism is there. He's certainly as athletic as Quan, just hasn't made the right decisions in some games when it mattered most and he was the cover safety. He's gotten enough reps since then to be wiser and a more complete player. So If he is ready to make the right decisions, there's no reason he can't contribute.

I just hope Bolden is ready to go if Knowles gets stage-fright on 8/24 when the lights are on.

This dude has made 0 Plays in 4 years and we are supposed to say nice things? Legget, kirby freeman, kyle wright, alonzo highsmith jr were always spoke of highly huh?
