Typically not ideal, but I believe Jaquan Johnson has been the leading tackler in our defense each of the past 2 years. Manny's scheme lends itself to the safety closer to the LOS being heavily involved in the run game.

Nope, not in this defense. The Safeties are very active in diaz’s Scheme
Jamal carter led the team in tackles in 2016 and rayshawn Jenkins was tied for 3rd.

In 2017 and 2018 Jaquan Johnson led the team in tackles too.

Not really. If they focused on working the passing game, which probably was needed between the qb's then it's entirely possibly to lead as a safety.
