No. 2 Georgia prospect Robert Beal to transfer to IMG Academy

Even though he's considered a Notre dame lean, this can actually work in our favor in terms of him visiting our campus and Coach Kool being the lead recruiter for the Academy and surrounding areas. Robert named us in his Top 7 list a few months back and surprisingly wants to go to college with his sister(track and field competitor) so wherever they both feel comfortable AND offers her a scholly probably gets Robert Beal.


PS: I'm taking a break from putting up updates due to other responsibilities, I promise I'll keep commenting and giving opinions but I won't to be able to keep up with everything as much as I used too. Sorry guys

Why? Why transfer? Besides being on an ultra talented team, what does being at IMG do for anyone that's already a big recruiting name?

Well, IMG offers the closest thing you can find to a college environment that's not an actual college. So some kids go there as preparation for college

IMG facilities are better than most D1 colleges. Plus access to nutritionist and personal trainer.

Fair enough on the college prep angle. I just think these young bucks are often times asked to grow up too fast. You're only young once and being at IMG may be awesome, but I hate senior year transfers. I guess I'm old school in that I feel like they're taking a dump on the guys they played with for three years or longer going back to childhood.

Hey Z. I really enjoy reading your threads about recruits and you deserve to have some breaks. Hopefully you will come back with more and more outstanding news!
