It's time for our weekly RJ McIntosh thread.

He needs to come back. Norton, too. I wouldn't be mad if he left bc there's no doubt he'll be drafted, but man, he's leaving a ton of bread on the table if he leaves.

Everyone needs to comeback , none of those guys are close to ready

“Readiness for the league” seems to be pretty subjective, with so many other factors involved a players decision to turn pro. I’d like for them to come back for selfish reasons, because Miami would be a better team with them. But I have no idea of their situation, so...

If you are worried about getting hurt, take an insurance policy out for the next year . In mcintosh case though leaving or staying won’t be a bad decision by him imo

I don't know for sure, but it seems as though RJ's family doesn't need his income. Walton's decision made sense from a financial perspective.

As Brock said, RJ should take out some insurance. In fact, he should do it before the Orange Bowl.

Comical to see porsters saying one week that McIntosh should leave for the NFL now, then saying he'd be a 6th round pick the next week.

I’m sure our guys will jump to the league to be sixth round picks like usual.

Dt don't usually leave early, and this is a pretty good year in draft at dt. My mind is blown that we have both our dt considering leaving early to most likely be drafted later than 1st round.

I know rj has talent to go first but there are guys who are just as good projected higher at moment. Is he better than Clemson duo?

RJ Mcintosh could be a high pick..i have no idea where Norton would be going he is a 5th round type right now..he needs to stay.

I dont think there are 5 dts that should or would be rated higher than Mcintosh to be honest.

Dont think the Clemson guys would be either...they look to be out of shape imo. Wilkins possibly could be...the other guy is a 1 tech prospect and not RJS level as a player

Players making a decision to leave early has NOTHING to do with their talent - it should - it doesnt - history proves it

Did you see the Clemson duo yesterday? McIntosh is one of the best DT's we've had in forever, but he's not that elite talent at DT that is NFL bound 3 years after high school. Don't know the last time that's ever even happened.

RJ would do the same thing to our Online as Clemson did.

RJ should come out. Football is a grind and it's year round, why not get paid for it?

Now being a QB is different, especially if you have weapons to play with. Kaaya left because he felt he had less weapons and the OLine would not improve.

I am waiting for once someone saying a Cane underclassmen should turn pro, he is ready. McIntosh is gone and should be.

i'd love for RJ to come back, but people re tripping if they don't think he's NFL ready. He's had a dominant year. Only two 1st round studs at Clemson kept him off 1st team all-ACC.

He'll go either 2nd or 3rd round, probably to a team that sees him as a 3-4 DE.

Everyone else, excluding Walton, would be taking a huge risk and leaving money on the table by leaving early.

When Norton & JJ get their evals back they’ll be back. If not they’ll cost themselves millions.

This is simple. 3rd round eval or better he should go. 5th round or worse he should stay. 4th round eval is a crapshoot.
