Doesn't matter what it looks like now. If you're not truly great there will always be players who emerge as truly great. They may be injured now. They may be under appreciated. Doesn't mean anything. McIntosh will not move up the ladder without becoming elite. Otherwise it's the same dunce argument that Dolphins fans have used for several years regarding Tannehill, that he'll move up solely via attrition. Nope. Here's Wentz. Here's Goff. Here's Deshaun Watson before injury.
McIntosh is very good. Maybe second round if he tests well and stays healthy. Penetrating defensive tackles are in high commodity. His hand usage is a strong point, just like deep ball coverage and instincts are a strong point for Jackson. I would be prepared for McIntosh to leave. Once scouts look at that ability to use his hands in traffic McIntosh will be given a fairly high grade.
