Even during the NCAA sanction years...not the cloud nonsense Al (Bend but dont break/wont attack defense) Golden would talk about...it was never this bad.

I'm sure there are coaches and players doing their best, but it can't overcome how poorly prepared this team looks each week.

Miami teams use to have REAL CHARACTER. That is TOTALLY gone.

For every current and former Miami admin member and random college fan who wanted Miami to go away....you got your wish.

I'm still a 'Canes fan, but I dont see a competitive team.

It pains me to say it...but Go 'Canes...it was a sweet ride from time to time.

Yup see you next year the only good news to come of this is we definitely won’t have to worry about losing ****** bowl game
 
I just feel terrible for the few good players we have (ie Jordan ) be for he can bolt for the pros an I see we rank 17 th as of today in recruiting but we will surely fall after the kids we have committed just saw that **** fest no point in the second half and could punch it in from the 10 twice in the second half I think these kids think that they should get respect just because they got to UM

Miami died on 11/19/2005 vs GT in the OB at night when we lost as an 8-1 team ranked #3. The nails in the coffin were LSU 40-3, 2006 debacle of a season (Louisville, Brawl, Pata murder) and then leaving the OB after the 07 UVA 48-0 beat down.

Been trying to get back ever since and we missed our window of opportunity and now kids don't care because they weren't alive when we were good.

Look for a bunch of these kids to hit the Portal after the season. The best players are not going to stick with this mess of bad coaching.

Nonsense, the best players transferring because of Ls? You don’t leave because of Ls only to sit out a year. You leave because you’re not getting PT.

Couldn’t agree with you more. I’ve been watching the team with blinders on. Your right that New Year’s Eve loss to LSU was the beginning of this long slide down to where we are today. They were everything we used to be on that night and we haven’t been close to what we were ever again.
