Very sad. I was a senior in high school when Rob Base and DJ Easy Rock hit it big. I actually thought Joy and Pain was their best song.

Middle school for me. I remember being at the 8th grade dance and everyone was still in that awkward "leave room for Jesus" slow-dance motion, but then they came on and everyone went crazy on the dance floor.

Good times.

I was in Jackson, Mississippi in 1988 when "It Takes Two" came out.

WJMI was the big radio station back then and they would play the record like 4 or 5 times an hour it seemed like. People were losing their mind for it.

Stll sounds good to this day!

Both of those hits were the truth but I always gave It takes 2 the slight edge.
