RIP John Madden

Maybe not a more important person in the history of the sport of football in bringing it to the popularity of today...a pop culture figure the NFL has not been able to duplicate.

Also...the most important figure in sports video gaming. His name is synonymous with gaming.

One of the true bests to ever lace'em up.

FOX did a special on him that aired on Christmas. He was interviewed for it and didn’t appear to be in poor health. But when you’re 85, death can come at any time.
Watched that special and the cool thing I came away with was the Turducken? Not sure on spelling

not to be a downer but death can come at anytime 1-100 dosent matter, something we should all think about every once in awhile. Nobody is guaranteed tomorrow

RIP

And this:

Who knew life was all downhill from there?

RIP to one of the GOATs.

Those were the best days/nights ever. Man I loved playing those early 90s Madden games. Somewhere at my mom's house is the 1992 Championship version that had the 72 Dolphins. Man, that game was incredible. I recently picked up a Sega for the kids, so maybe I'll have to her find it.

He is right up there with Keith Jackson. Completely different, but a complete legend. RIP, coach.
