NFL RIP Jeff Gladney

This is sad.

When it’s all said and done, the most dangerous thing young people still do statistically is driving an automobile. Getting behind the wheel of a car is inherently dangerous. Historically it’s the leading cause of death for young adults. And it’s not even close.

And on a day-to-day basis it’s the most dangerous thing we all do every day.

Be alert and have your head on a swivel. Especially when you’re going through an intersection, how many morons have blown through a red light and T-boned people and killed them?

My heart goes out to such a young man with his future ahead of him, as well as to his family/

He & Jaylon Johnson were my two favorites CB’s in their draft class.

Gladney was a really good cover corner with outstanding footwork & sound technique.

Unfortunately he got cut by Minnesota due to off the field domestic violence issues, obviously had no idea about that part of his character but he was on the path to turning his life around & getting a second chance with Arizona.

Life is an interesting tragic drama that only a lucky few get to see how the movie ends, most will leave abruptly without ever seeing it coming.

Never like to see someone die before they get the chance to fulfill their life’s purpose & grow into the person they were meant to be, but that’s life; everybody’s got their date & when its your time its your time.

Police report indicates Gladney was driving with a female and they were speeding. They clipped a car in front of them and lost control and slammed directly into a pole. Both he and the woman died. The other car’s occupants were injured but expected to be okay.

So sad and so senseless.
