Truly saddened by this news, watching Chuck inspired me to get into karate. If Chuck can die the rest of us have no chance, LOL.

Had a mutual friend to Chuck. I never met him though.
Chuck got his start in the kickboxing sport, popular in the 70’s.
Steve Shepherd (RIP) was world champion a few years after Chuck and was friends with him.
Steve was from West Palm Beach and ran a Dojo that two of my friends got their black belts from.
One had known Steve from High School and had attended another Dojo in the very early 70’s with Steve and my aunt.
We took Steve hunting on Deseret Ranch once. Dude was a city boy and the weekend was filled with hilarity.
First he scope eyed himself with my friend’s daughter’s rifle. He got up screaming at my friend “I’m going to need stitches and I never got stitches in xx number of years of kickboxing!”
Me and my friend were rolling with laughter behind his truck, as Steve was ****ed and a tough hombre.
Finally my friend steps out and says “that’s my daughter’s rifle!”
He shut up then.
Then we took him out to shoot a hog. Found a group of three and my friend tells him to shoot the lead hog. Steve unloads and kills all three. My buddy starts laughing and Steve says “ why you laughing Mock?”
“Because you’re going to clean all three of those mother****ers!”
