RIP Allen Bailey..

He lived on my floor in Pearson. He would walk around shirtless, mogging everyone with his biceps lol. But once you got to know him, he was a true gentle giant, and you couldn't have asked for a better person. This one hurts, man.
 
Can’t lie, this one hurt. Allen was such a good guy, man. He was one of the few, bright spots during that decade+ of futility. Bro was worth watching even when we sucked as a team.

Strong as an ox, but humble & well mannered. Gracious off the field, but a beast on it. What’s crazy is I was literally just thinking about him and a couple of other Canes a couple of weeks ago, like how some lasted in the league for 5+ years, becoming fully vested. I was thinking even during our slim yrs, we were able to put out a couple of quality guys who may not have been superstars at the next level, but became long time starters or rotational depth guys.

37 is far, too, young man. Tomorrow is not promised, no matter how young or old we may be. Love life & don’t stress over the bull ****. RIP Big Allen.
 
Crazy seeing guys my age pass like this. Health is wealth, man. Never seen a bad word said about him. Thoughts are with the family and those who knew him.
 
Will never forget the real Black Superman. Dude was a genetic freak, and a really nice guy. R.I.P. gentle giant and Cane legend.
