As a flare out only not advancing up field? You think we can get first down? If he went to 32 yard line you don't think he could get 1st down?View attachment 266584

We can all agree that every Canes fan wants a win and we have to ride with him. I definitely understand you trying to be positive. But was he also hurt when the Honey BeesI know the site is down on him. But I don't think it is all on him. He has had 3 OC's in 3 years and with the new idea of keeping both the TE and RB in 2 block he has had to choose 3 receivers to throw to instead of 5 in the Lashlee offense. My defining moment on the season is the tremendous shot UNC hit him on the TD pass to George in the UNC game. They hit him in the stomach, internal organ area, and yes he wasn't the same after that hit. But I believe the Tyler of 2021 is still within him. So I am going to ride on his talent these last two or three games. Hate on him all you want but you are foolish if you didn't see that hit and don't think it affected him for a long time.
Tyler. Go to bed. You have a game to play in today. The more people post the more I am convinced it is the scheme and not Tyler.
FU I am not Tyler just giving you facts.Tyler. Go to bed. You have a game to play in today.
All I’ll say is this I’m not taking injuries into account this week. LVille likes to blitz and play lots of Man. That’s TVDs recipe to compete balls. LVille is stupid if they do this they should just play zone and let him throw it to them but if they play aggressively and man to man I expect Tyler to play good enough to winHe has been very banged up and if that in turn has been the primary reason for his poor play then we will know tomorrow afternoon because he is close to being fully healthy. He said that himself so we will see if he can get over the mental hurdles. I have no doubt that the hit he sustained vs UNC has affected him. That's why Emory started against Clemson. It's also why Emory should have started vs UVA and NCST. Van Dyke is the most healthy he has been all year so we will see how he does vs Louisville. I hope he has a great game and throws for 4 TDs and 350 yards.
You better not eff it up tomorrow. The team is counting on you. Don’t let us down Tyler.FU I am not Tyler just giving you facts.
TVD has always played well vs teams that employ man coverage and blitz because it puts him in a mode where he plays by instinct making quick decisions. This is why he is much better suited to offenses that run uptempo quick read passing concepts. Go back and watch TVD and you will notice that a majority of his interceptions come when he has all the time in the world in the pocket. They also tend to come when the staff slows the game down to a crawl and expect him to be a game manager. Tyler's brain isn't suited to that. When the game slows down he has too much time to think and that is his weakness. As an OC you don't want Tyler to think too much. You want to ideally run an uptempo quick passing game that allows Tyler to play on instinct and not have to sit in the pocket and think too much. All I’ll say is this I’m not taking injuries into account this week. It is late and I can't defend the thread anymore. If you don't think that hit on TVD was the defining moment on the season, I respectfully disagree. From that moment on, everything changed. But I can't accept the bashing of TVD here. You all never played the game obviously. You get hurt, injured during the season and the other players try to step up for you. But when you the guy, it hurts when you can't perfom at your best. I may be totally wrong tomorrow cause Louisville is a really good team, but I think we see the best of TVD tomorrow if Dawson makes the correct adjustments to the O. We shall see.
Prime example of what I mean. That TD pass to Horton vs ATM was also a good example. He didn't face heavy pressure on that play but they were coming. The pass to Horton however was in perfect rhythm. If we get TVD in rhythm he can carve up most defenses. However if the DC gets him out of rhythm then he is toast. You're right though. That pass to Jacolby and the other TD to Smith were just insane throws vs heavy pressure. The hit he took vs UNC was absolutely brutal and I'm just guessing but I think he bruised his ribs on that one. Just a vicious hit(but clean). It's not the least bit surprising he sat out the following week. That throw agaisnt unc to jacolby![]()

Problem with that would be this started against Georgia tech. Also when we run Max protect the tight end(s) don't stay in. Usually they chip in passing situations and one drops off in the flat while the other drops off at the hash or sits in the seam... He just wouldn't know because his head is glued on one direction.Did you not see the hit? Do you think Tyler has been the same since it happened? Do you think giving him three options instead of 5 is a good thing? I'd like to hear why you dispute it.
