I know the site is down on him. But I don't think it is all on him. He has had 3 OC's in 3 years and with the new idea of keeping both the TE and RB in 2 block he has had to choose 3 receivers to throw to instead of 5 in the Lashlee offense. My defining moment on the season is the tremendous shot UNC hit him on the TD pass to George in the UNC game. They hit him in the stomach, internal organ area, and yes he wasn't the same after that hit. But I believe the Tyler of 2021 is still within him. So I am going to ride on his talent these last two or three games. Hate on him all you want but you are foolish if you didn't see that hit and don't think it affected him for a long time.

Did you not see the hit? Do you think Tyler has been the same since it happened? Do you think giving him three options instead of 5 is a good thing? I'd like to hear why you dispute it.

On the final play last week, Tyler had the option to throw to X only. There was no TE option route or a back out of the backfield option. So he has to throw the hero throw into double coverage or make something happen by moving out of the pocket. He did so but no receiver moved with him. How is that his fault.

Why wasn't a checkdown to Brashard in the plan? Or to Chris Johnson or to some other fast guy? Is it really all on Tyler? I'm just saying.

He has been very banged up and if that in turn has been the primary reason for his poor play then we will know tomorrow afternoon because he is close to being fully healthy. He said that himself so we will see if he can get over the mental hurdles. I have no doubt that the hit he sustained vs UNC has affected him. That's why Emory started against Clemson. It's also why Emory should have started vs UVA and NCST. Van Dyke is the most healthy he has been all year so we will see how he does vs Louisville. I hope he has a great game and throws for 4 TDs and 350 yards and NO TOs!

I am not the smartest guy in the world but if someone comes to me and says here are your only three options to success, I want to know what the five alternatives were that are available. In 2021, Tyler had 5 options. Now he has only 3 that can gain a first down.

He was making unforgivable mistakes before that hit. That Temple interception & all the rest of the picks, he threw prior were all mistakes only Freshmen should make.

I do agree he is not a total loss cause. He has to be in a system that goes fast. He gets in rhythm and does not have to think as much. Problem is, Mario is on the record wanting to play complimentary football which means take your time so the defense can rest.

Maybe next year with some added depth on defense We can go a little faster.

Current options, any RB out of back field, and TE in middle of field and any three WR's down field. But we only try to hit the three WR's without the other two options.

I’ve been a huge TVD supporter so I get where you’re coming from.

X was open on that fourth down. TVD is incredibly talented which he has objectively shown at times. Unfortunately, he’s just broken mentally and physically right now. He mentioned this week he’s almost recovered fully from his injuries so hopefully we get the guy we had the first 4-5 weeks of the season.

The RB's and Te's flare behind line don't advance downfield. It is not a winning game plan.

You wanted him to throw into double coverage?

Can you imagine Chaney or Fletcher catching a pass when the safeties cover the WR's and moving downfield in space? you think that is a bad idea?

Toast is cute. You found a meme. But it isn't serious analysis. But you be you. Be intellectual
