When I think about what opponent we'll face, I'm not really that concerned if we play our game, the way we can.

I was thinking toss up wirh A&M at their place. OSU, I was actually more confident facing them than A&M. Ole Miss, they did EXACTLY what I thought they would, get the ball out quick to try and negate our pass rush and I figured this one would be a push.

As for IU or Oregon, both have great QB's, but neither scares me when their pass protection breaks down. The only WR we haven't shut down was Jeremiah Smith and we've shut down options like what they have at both of those schools.

I'm fairly confident against either school. We got our bad game out of the way and I truly feel that was as one sided a game as it could get with the officials. Big 12 refs incoming?

Thoughts?

If you asking which team, I would say UO.. Anybody who watched that Orange bowl game saw Texas Tech defense really step up and their Dline embarrassed UO oline some. Moore can get rattled and he threw picks but TT has great LB pass D. Indiana is dam near avg age of the green bay Packers and Mendoza we have played against before, he can take a hit and just keeps throwing. Either way we getting #6

I think we take either as well. I'm fairly confident in it like I was against OSU.

It'll be interesting to see this rematch between the two. Oregon has been quietly stacking wins not really facing anyone after their game against IU prior to the playoffs.

We match up much better against Oregon. Their O line isn’t great, especially their tackles. Moore isn’t good under pressure. They’re missing IMO their best RB. Whittington is great but Davison is the real deal. That’s a big loss for them. Lanning is an outlier who gets too aggressive for his own good.

Indiana is disciplined. Mendoza won’t make the game losing mistake. O line is legit. Defense doesn’t bust coverages.

I want Oregon to win

They won’t but it’s what I want

Mario beating Oregon on our home field?

Plus I have some genuinely disturbing hatred for Dan Lanning. I don’t normally let people I don’t know bother me but I hate that ************
We didn’t get the Beck bowl. Makes me want the Mario bowl even more now. Can you imagine the “Oregon Tears” thread after whipping their *** for a natty? A million posts before March.

This team won't drop 4 ints again. We won't see a back as talented as Lacy in the natty. That alone makes me feel confident.

Oh, for sure, it's crazy we couldn't hold onto one of those.

I won't dismiss IU's rushing attack that easily though. We didn't see much of Lacy last night, he missed a ton of snaps. IU's got two that put up roughly 2k yards on the season. Still, we've held running backs in check and this last game, we made a more concerted effort to limit runs or scrambles.

Seems most are fairly confident as I am. I wasn't sure if I was just "riding high" or what, hence the title.

Let's get us another. Don't let someone come into your house and take that trophy from you.

I'd rather face Oregon. IU will make it to the NC though, and they're the tougher out IMO. We'll need to have a OSU-type game as far as luck and penalties go though - basically the opposite of how we did against Ole Miss. We cant play that sloppy and still win.
